On Easter Sunday, Bishop Folts visited St. Matthew's, Rapid City, where seven new members were baptized and where one person renewed her Baptismal Covenant! Like other congregations in our Diocese, the weather was less than cooperative, but the Alleluias were strong!
Again, the leadership of SaraBeth Donavan and Conrad and Lori Shroyer was spot on and much appreciated! We give God thanks for the successful kidney transplant from the Rev. Joe Hubbard to the Rev. Leon Sampson. Fr. Joe will be returning to duty in due course, and we ask for everyone's continued prayers for both families as Fr. Joe and Fr. Leon heal.
Alleluia! Christ is risen! The Lord is risen indeed! Alleluia!
