What to bring
At TEC, we provide most of the things necessary for a camper to have a succesful and enjoyable camping experience. There are just a few things that campers need to bring themselves:
- A sleeping bag or bedding
- A pillow
- Layers of clothing (it can be warm in the day and cool at night)
- Close-toed shoes
- Toiletries (such toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.)
- A towel
We recognize that sometimes campers forget some of these essentials or are not able to provide them themselves. As a result extras of all of these supplies, including sleeping bags, clothing, and shoes, are available at no cost at camp. If you know prior to camp that a camper will not be able to provide one or more of these supplies, just let us know. If you are not able to let us know beforehand, these supplies can still be provided. To let us know about this or to contact us with any other questions or comments, you can email the Rev. Portia Corbin, Missioner for Camping and Retreat Ministries, or call the Diocesan office at 605-494-2020.
