This Ministry Weekend will begin at 5:30 PM (central) on Friday night and will not go later than 3:30 PM (central) Saturday afternoon.
Since the beginning of time we have been constantly interacting with folks who are different from us, creating new and unique cultural intersections. Historically, some of these intercultural experiences have been beautiful and life giving, while others have been fraught with abuse and exploitation. This course will explore some of those interactions and provide learners with skills for intercultural communication. This course will cover topics such as dimensions of culture, intercultural communication, and historical trauma using a variety of learning approaches including lecture, discussion, and experiential learning.
